About beyondthelights.org
Beyond the Lights Celebrity Golf Classic will be hosted by actors Kyle Chandler and Brad Leland of the critically acclaimed NBC television series "Friday Night Lights". Kyle and Brad learned about those living with paralysis by getting to know and work with actors with real-life spinal cord injuries while shooting the series. The strength, courage and determination of those young actors and others who live with paralysis moved and inspired the hosts into action. Their first annual Golf Classic hopes to create a greater public awareness of those affected by spinal cord injuries and support those that focus on care, research and finding a cure for paralysis.
How beyondthelights.org Moved Neutral
Beyond the Lights decided to be a carbon neutral Celebrity Golf
tournament, and run their website using renewable wind energy. As a result, MoveNeutral is offsetting
the tournament's 50 tons of carbon dioxide emissions with American-made renewable energy.
MoveNeutral is offsetting emissions corresponding to clubhouse energy consumption,
concert energy consumption, lighting energy consumption, golf cart
charging energy consumption, limos travel to and from Austin, commuter
vehicle travel to and from Austin, participating golfer's flights,
contractors and catering travel, and Tim McGraw's tour bus and private
jet travel from Houston.
The following table indicates the estimated carbon dioxide emissions
of the event by source. Estimates are subject to increase if new
emission sources are introduced.

| Limos to and From Austin | 1,200 |
